NARUTO LEGENDS OF THE PAST is a collection of short stories focusing on the backstories of the main characters from the Naruto universe. It traces the development of the plot centred on Madara Uchiha’s goals and ideology, which form the basis of the Fourth Great Ninja War in the original series. The various short stories explore themes such as Itachi Uchiha’s psychological journey leading to his decision to sacrifice himself for his brother Sasuke, or what caused the disappearance of the Senju Clan and the death of Hashirama Senju – events that remain unexplained in the original series to this day. You don’t have to follow the order of publication, although it is recommended. Each short story includes a Glossary to help readers navigate the names of villages, clans and characters.
