Chapter 1: Who are you?

"Where am I? I just wanted some water!

Normally there are servents outside the room, but for some reason no one is here today!

If I had known, I was going to get lost in this stupidly big mansion, I wouldn't even have bothered leaving my room!"

It wasn't a surprise he was lost inside the mansion, after all he had been there only for a month and didn't bother exploring it.

Finally, at the end of the long corridor he found a big door.

It was definitely large compared to the other ones, and decorated differently.

It had more gold and decorations compared to the other ones.

For example they had beautiful roses, that only grew in the northern region of the country, they gave the door quite an elegant feal.

"What is this place? A treasure room?

Well seeing how different it is, it might just be one.

But why is it out in the open, shouldn't it be in a more secured place.

Guess my father believes that this mansion is really secured.

Should I go in?..."

After thinking about ot for a while he decided to go in.

Upon entering the room he didn't find anything special.

It was old and it seemed like it wasn't cleaned for years, infact there was dust everywhere.

"What is this place? A storage room?"

Well saying it was a storage room was better than a treasure room.

It was filled with old objects, furniture, swords, armour, shields, clothes, portraits and stuff he didn't know about.

Since he hadn't found anything, he was about to leave when something caught his eye.

It wasn't something special or something really cool.

It was just a small black ball, but for some reason he couldn't take his eyes of it.

He was curious about it, so he touched it, but a bright light started shining the exact second.

It was so bright that the child couldn't keep his composure and ended up hitting his head on the table next to him.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself back in his room.

"How the hell am I back in my room?"

He was confused, he was positive it wasn't a dream.

"I brought you back."

It was an unfamiliar voice, hearing it the child started to panic.

"W-Who's there? Come out right now."

"I'm right above you."

It was a figure covered in thick black smoke

"W-what are you?"

"Um of course I'm a human."

"What are you saying! Your literally covered in black smoke! You don't even seem to have a body."

"Ops your right! I guess children could get scared by this."

The child was shocked at how oblivious the figure was.

After a few minutes the figure said

"So what's your name? And where are we?"

The child didn't answer, he was afraid of the figure standing in front of him.

"Hey I'm waiting for your answer, i won't eat you or something."

After hearing those words the child relaxed a bit.

He was definitely quite naive to believe someone's words like that.

"Um my name's Sua and right now we are at the Vastia Estate."

"The Vastia Estate! What's that?"

"Wait! How do you not know that? Are you an idiot? Ugh let me explain. So you must know that there are four dukes in this country that protect it right?

The Vastia's are one of the four dukes and right know the Duke is Arien Vastia."

said the figure mumbling.

But are you sure your a Vastia? You seem too weak and it seems you don't have God's blessing."

El was quite shocked at hearing him scream, he never imagined a small boy like him could scream so loudly.

After the servent left, El who was holding back his anger said

"What was that? Why did he leave just like that? And why was he talking to you like that?

"Can I ask you something? Am I the only one who can see you? Since it seems like the servent couldn't see you. "

Sua didn't say anything, it was true and it was the exact reason why the servants didn't like him, and called him stuff like 'The shame of the Vastia family.'

"...You should have atleast said something to him."

After a few minutes when El saw that Sua wasn't about to calm down he said

"I'm sorry I didn't know it was so hard for you, it was inconsiderate of me to ask you something like this...

Listen here kid: from now on I will help you! No one will be able to mess with you!"

And after hearing those words he had finally calmed down.
