Synopsis

Nora Raven, a young beautiful lady who had to drop out of college so that her younger brother could go to high school. She met Jason Anderson who was a CEO of one of the biggest companies in the country. Nora saw Jason walk up to her. He looked up at Nora's makeup-smudged face and line of tears on her cheeks. He was in a black tuxedo and looked as hot as ever. She rolled her eyes when she noticed he didn't stop staring at her. "Are you here to make fun of me? "He didn't reply to her question, instead he said "Let's get married" he said with complete seriousness in his tone. Wait what?" Nora asked. She would make the perfect wife for him since she understood him quite well. If he had chosen Tasha, he wouldn't be able to handle her for 6 months. He realized that she wasn't someone that would act clingy, so she was his best option. "Are you kidding me, sir?" she asked getting upset. "I just need you for 6 months" I hope you all will have a great time reading this novel. Chapter 1: Meeting An Arrogant Man

"It looks like it's going to rain tonight because of this wind" Nora thought to herself.

"How will I get home? It's already 8:00 p.m. and I still have to work for another hour before heading home" Nora said to herself.

Nora Raven was a young lady who could be classified as having a low-class status. Her parents tried to send her to school but she dropped out when her younger brother entered high school and it was becoming difficult for them to live.

Nora continued mopping the floor when a well-built handsome young man walked elegantly into the building.

Nora was absent-minded and didn't know when she bumped into someone. She fell hard to the ground and the dirty water poured on the guy's shoes.

The guy was so mad and pissed off. This trash-like lady just poured dirty water on his limited-edition shoes.

"Are you crazy?" Jason sneered angrily.

"I'm so sorry, let me help you clean it up" Nora mumbled fearfully still on the ground.

Nora took the hem of her shirt and began to clean it.

The man got more pissed and moved a step back and said "Get off me". He exuded an inexplicable coldness.

Nora stood from the ground and was also angry because she fell so hard on the ground and he couldn't even lift her.

"I'm trying to be nice here, I fell, as a gentleman, you are supposed to help me up and then blame me later. You are such an uncaring, arrogant idiot" Nora ranted as she walked out.

Jason was shocked but still made an expressionless face. Nobody has ever spoken to him in that manner before. He had expected her to fall on her knees and plead but instead, she fought him. How dare her?

Nora ran to the bathroom and started crying. He looked like a very wealthy man who could be so important to the company she worked for.

"Couldn't I just ignore him? What's my problem? What if I lose my job" Nora thought about all of this and continued crying.

After a few minutes, she stood up and washed her face, she had to go back to work or else, it would give them more reasons to sack her off.

Jason was so pissed that he couldn't stop thinking of the incident that happened even inside the meeting. He wanted to finish the meeting and find her but the directors were prolonging it.

He was annoyed and said " Send the rest of the documents to my assistant. That's the end of the meeting for today".

"But sir, you have not reviewed the budget for this month" one of the directors exclaimed.

Jason shot him a cold glare before out of the meeting room.

Jason scrutinized the whole company in search of her, but he couldn't find her. He was reluctant to go home, he looked like a lost puppy searching for his mother.

"Sir; is everything alright?" His assistant, Mr Anthony asked.

Jason glared at him and turned to the other side. He saw the manager coming towards him so he waited because it was a good advantage to find Nora.

"Good evening Mr. Anderson" The manager said with a smile.

"I'm searching for a young Janitor who was cleaning when I walked in" Jason inquired ignoring her greeting.

"That should be Nora, well she should have left. Why are you searching for her? Did she do something wrong?" The manager asked.

"Yes, she..." Mr. Anthony voiced but was interrupted by Jason.

"No, she didn't" Jason said as he walked off.

The driver opened the door of the car for Jason and Mr Anthony sat at the front seat before driving off.
