The Republic of South Africa (RSA) was finally granted the opportunity to participate in the Space travel program Beta, the program allows the country that completes the trial phase, that most countries never pass, the opportunity to stand on their own two feet and form their own space traveling team. The rules of the Beta trial program require that teams of 8 consisting of members aged 21 and older sign up together and only one team will be allowed to continue to the initial Beta program that includes sponsored training by the US and a permit to start a research centre within the country. This is a modern South Africa that has pushed to advance and catch up with the rest of the world in technological advancement. Can the chosen 8 pave a way for their country? or will South Africa be another statistic, being known as the third African country to fail the Program.
