Chapter 1: Chapter 1
I was more of a sadist now than I ever thought I'd become.
I lost both parents but still have never felt this empty in my life lol.
I lost my dad way before I was born and my mum, well she died few days after I got into senior high. I felt like my world was crumbled and I felt numb and depressed but I had few people around me who supported me through all these and took me in and I've never been more grateful.
I had someone I was totally in love with and in all honesty he was a rock in my time of distress and I appreciated him a lot but now things changed a lot and I felt like I had nothing.
Sorry I haven't even introduced myself lol, let's go back .
"Ashley!!! Get up from bed and prepare for school!" Mrs Winters shouted.
"Oh shit! I got up and looked at my alarm, it was already 7am and I just woke up. Oh Geez"
Today was my first day at Wilhelm high school and my first day of senior high so apparently I'm supposed to be excited and ready before 7:30am so that I could hang out with friends and have a tour before classes but here I was still lying on my bed.
"Thanks mum!" I shouted before heading to my bathroom.
My mum and I lived together and she worked as a cook in a hotel well she was a great cook so she was a head chef and earned enough to take care of me and herself including the house expenses so I can say I actually lived well.
Opposite our house lived my best friend Natalie Hoffman and her family, we've been friends since middle school and she was someone I trusted and loved. I had other friends Josephine and Scott. We were a squad and I couldn't ask for better friends.
I showered and dressed in my skinny blue jeans and a white hoodie, styled my head into a ponytail and put on my sneakers then Immediately headed downstairs to meet my mum.
"Here's my lil sleepy head" My mum said smiling.
"Good morning mum" I said pecking her cheek.
"Well you'll obviously be late for school anyways so you might as well have breakfast" she said as she poured some orange juice into my glass.
I was about taking a bite of my toast bread when Natalie's voice came from afar.
"Ash!!!! What are you still doing?!"
Nata shouted
"Oh Good morning Mrs Winters" she said giving my mum a hug
" Do you know we're supposed to be at school now but my best friend here is still yet to have her breakfast?" She asked mum smiling
"C'mon Nat I'm so hungry already" I said to her pouting
"Fine, hurry up we need to head over to Scott's cause he's driving us".
I hurried over my breakfast and thanked mum, we both have a hug and said our goodbyes before leaving the house.
"Bye mum"
"Bye Mrs Winters".
" There are my babies!" Scott shouted as he pulled us in for a hug.
We exchanged pleasantries before hopping into his car and he drove off.
"I'm so excited guys" Natalie said grinning
"You know I've heard a lot about senior high, there are lots of fun activities
Home coming,prom, meeting sexy guys and great parties . I think you'll finally get a boyfriend too Ash" she said before poking me.
"Oh c'mon Nata, if she doesn't need a boyfriend yet I don't think you should force her into getting one since we all know she's not ready yet" Scott said smiling at me
"Oh thank you best friend!" I said while running my hands through his hair.
He only smiled and continued driving.
We finally got to school and headed inside.
We walked down the hall to an office and greeted the woman there, she handed us our individual timestable and showed us our lockers but since she had this fondness for us she gave us an oral tour lol.
But at least we understood most if not all of the things she'd told us including detention room, cafeteria, principal's office, hall for school activities, maths class and so on.
I checked my timestable and realized I had Literature class by 9:15 and it was almost 9:30 so I waved to my friends and we all dispersed to find our various classes.
I finally found Literature class but I was kinda nervous but still went in anyways.
"Good morning, Miss Winters I presume? A woman standing behind a desk said to me, I think she's the literature teacher
"Good morning ma'am, yes I'm Ashley Winters and I know I'm late, ...Sorry" I said remorsefully.
She looked at me and smiled
"It's okay Miss Winters, find a seat and settle down"
"Thanks" I muttered
I was about finding a seat when someone tapped me from behind
"Hey! Ash, come sit here" the feminine voice said
I looked back to realize it was Josephine my other best friend.
I smiled broadly and sat beside her.
We paid attention till the class was over and then started talking, she showed me her schedule and I found out she had one more class with me before I went in for the last class so we headed there together.
It was English class, Natalie and Scott joined and then lastly was history so I went alone.
"Well well well! If it isn't the goody Ashy winny!" The voice said scornfully.
I could recognize this voice anywhere, it was Kylie Simpson a girl who used to be my friend but now she's my number one hater.
What can I say, I'm a celebrity lol.
" Well if it isn't my favorite bitch" I said with a smirk. I pulled her in for a bone crushing hug but she pushed me away from her.
"I'm glad you made it to senior high so tell me how did you do it, did you sleep with a teacher or bribe them?" I said giving her a dirty look
"Get out of my way asshole!" She said rolling her eyes.
I smiled knowing I got her real good.
The truth was that Kylie had never been good in academics because she never took them seriously, yes her parents were rich so she felt everything revolves around her and since we used to be friends I always helped her until I realized how ungrateful and evil she was so I cut ties with her but still she always came at me.
Jeffrey's POV
I skipped morning classes today because I really wasn't in the mood for them so once the bell went I knew it was lunch time so I headed to the cafeteria immediately. I already spotted my friends at our reserved table and joined them.
We talked about random things and laughed over jokes while eating.
Jake used the noise as the perfect timing to ask why I wasn't in English class today and I explained to him I wasn't really feeling it so he just let it go after giving me the "I'm always here if you need someone to talk to" smile.
I squeezer his shoulder and smiled.
"Yo bruh! Charlie said while poking Fred
Look at those girls, I like the one on a red gown better she's hot and sexy.
They called for my attention and that was when I looked up to see who they were referring to
"She's pretty" I said nonchalantly
But when I noticed the other girl who was smiling I couldn't help staring for longer.
She was dressed in a white hoodie and had Chestnut red hair which was perfectly tied into a ponytail. Her brown eyes were pretty as the sun shone on her face making them obvious
She had a nice skin and pointed nose.
Her lips were voluptuous and pink,they looked so nice and sexy.
" I think they're freshers" Jake said interrupting my thoughts.
He noticed I was staring at one and poked me laughing.
"I can find out more about her if you wish" Jake said grinning
"Nah bruh, I'm good" I said drily.
