Hey, I like the premise very much! :D Let me say that I love the concept of a streamer who tries to disprove paranormal stuff, but instead ends up facing it. Kinda fresh for me hehe! I love the characters, too! They have their own personality and I think that's always great in a story hehe Punctuation and stuff could use some work, but it okei for me :D Great work, author! :D
Wow, this story gripped me right from the start and would not let go. I love the dark and creepy atmosphere the author has created. As I was reading it felt like I was watching one of my favorite 2000s horror films play out in book form. Really entertaining and suitably jumpy, does what a good horror/thriller should do. The pacing is great with the short, snappy chapters and the story progresses naturally and wastes little time with needless filler. The protagonist is also a well-developed character, battling with her own guilt after recently losing her sister and blaming herself. Loving this one so far. Eager to see where it goes. Just don't be reading this one alone at night.
The tension in the beginning really set the story off to a chilling start! I love the concept, the characters are unique, especially the mc who's reactions are very realistic and the suspence really sets one of edge. This is perfect for those who love horror and all things paranormal. I 100% recommend.
"Please make it stop! I'm tired, I don't want to play anymore!" she cries as she continues running around the house. "There is no stopping" it says in a sinister voice. "This is what you wanted isn't it? now run and do not let me catch you, the game has only begun" it laughs wickedly as it walks slowly towards her, as if taking it's time knowing his prey is weak.
She continues running around the house but screams in pain as her foot is impaled by a rusty old nail, "fuck!!!" she cries out. slowly she pulls out the nail and watches as blood drips on the brown carpet.
She is reminded of her surrounding when she hears footsteps coming closer, quickly she drags herself up the stairs leaving footprints of blood behind her. She enters the 3rd door to her left locks it and hides in a wardrobe.
"looks like you left me clues" she hears the frightening voice getting closer to the door. "as if you want to be found by me" sounds of the door Knob being used echoes in her ears "do you not fear me?". She hears it knock on the door "let me in" it whispers in a friendly tone, "Do you think this door will be able to hold me" his tone becomes more aggressive. "let me in!!!" it screams continuously, banging on the door repeatedly. She places her hands on her ears trying to block the screams of the monster she agreed to play a game with, tears drop from her eyes. The knocking and screaming suddenly stop as she hears the door slowly creak open. The sound of laughter fills the room "where are you?" it laughs wickedly, she hears footsteps walking slowly towards the wardrobe. "why do you humans always hide in the most obvious places? it makes the game boring"
She stares at the door as tears continue rolling down her eyes and her hands move to her mouth trying to stop herself from making a sound. The room is silent for a while but slowly the wardrobe door opens as a doll with a huge smile on it's face stands in front of it holding an axe, "I found you" it sings joyfully as it raises the axe and cuts her head.
