Chapter 1: Like a fairytale
December 30, 2019, was supposed to be the happiest day of my whole life.
Wearing a white gown, with white gloves on my hands and crystal shoes on my feet, I step in slow motion on the red carpet. On my head was a veil. Just like before, when I was one of the campus belles.
Every woman stared at me in their eyes was full of envy. A group of children followed me closely. Their hair was uniformed, curly. They wore white dresses and showed the happy-looking faces. A man was waiting at the altar. I could tell his happy even from afar.
I knew this was the moment, the moment of my life. It's like a fairytale, that anyone could tell.
But,
Not all fairytale has a happy ending. Before even I arrived at the altar, suddenly, the world turned hazy. My feeling was groggy.
A moment later, I lost my consciousness.
"Almina!!!" The last thing I heard was the shout of a man I truly love. The man, I supposedly going to marry.
My beautiful dreams remained as a dream.
I don't even know what happened after that. But one day, I woke up squirming, wiggling, wobble and twisting. I also heard strange voices coming out of nowhere.
The voice said,
The voice was a computerized female voice.
I've asked the voice if who she was. She answered that she was a system deity known as Sistema.
'System...deity?'
At first, I really can't believe it. But after realizing what I am, there was nothing I could do. I wanted to cry and to scream. But I can only wiggle and squirm.
What happened to meeeeeeee?
Even if I asked, the system only answered me the same thing all the time. That I died with dengue fever and reincarnated as a mosquito?
Such bad luck! How about the man I was supposed to marry. The man I wanted to call honey.
Was everything gone like that? Because of dengue fever?
After so many days of sad reminiscence, now I am trying to hug my new hell of a life. I am the woman who supposedly the most beautiful woman, with long legs, sexy body, fair smooth skins, and long black hair. But now, I became an ugly insect, a mosquito egg!
Sistema said that right now, I was in the pond located at the wasteland? What wasteland? Where was this place supposed to be?
*Cry!*
Ymaaaaaan! Save meeeee! I scream with all my might. Yman Fortis, the name of a man I was about to marry.
Later on,
Sistema asked me to do some quest. She said I needed to complete some quests. At first, I was skeptical but, after she said that there was a chance I will be back into a human again, my eyes lit up.
I asked her to specify the details on how to become a human again. She told me that I needed to achieve some particular titles.
And so the quest to become human again has started.
