This book is definitely a 5/5, a true hidden gem. The author's writing skills suck you right in from just the first chapter. This author does an excellent job at crafting the badass FL causing you to want to follow along to see whatever or whoever crosses her path next. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a hot power dynamic relationship. Well done author!
Chapter 1: Before you read
Hi,
This is the author and I wanted to include a preface before people read this book. I've seen a fair bit of comments regarding consent and how some of the actions come off "creepy." I just want to explain that while I see where you are coming from, every action between the leads is consensual.
They are both unfamiliar to dating and romance in general, so the actions between them come off awkward or weird. However, for people who have dark and bloody pasts, this is their most natural instinct. Our FL can and will stop him at any given point because she has the power to do so, she is consenting to everything with an outward rejection. A typical tsundre in some scenes. You may also find some of her scenes with the FL against her personality but it is later explained in the book and partially due to her trauma.
