Chapter 1: The story behind her knowledge.
Malina Rose Smith is the adopted daughter of Marshall and Vivienne Smith. Since she was adopted when she was young and raised together with the couple's biological daughter, 5 years older than her, she always thought that they were her real family.
When the Smith family moved to K Island and Malina entered kindergarten school, only then did she noticed that she was different.
All of the kids around her kept pinpointing how much different her appearance was as compared to her other family members. Her parents and elder sister had a western look, while she looked like an Asian.
But it didn't matter to her what the truth was because she was raised with an abundance of love. Even her elder sister spoiled her too much.
At age 9, her happy life crumbled when she was involved in a major kidnapping of all the rich heirs across the globe that the authorities refer to as The Heir Blackdays Case'
Blood doesn't matter when it comes to inheritance. And that is when she discovered the truth of her origin and the ugly face of human nature at the price of Viviene's life. Watching the horrifying death of Vivienne with her own eyes was a traumatic experience for Malina.
To ensuring her sanity, Malina's child mind tried to protect itself by blocking all memories of those dark days. She even blocked some crucial memories regarding the fact that her life would be endangered after she comes of age at 18.

I have only two goals in my life. First is to get married to a widower and raising a bunch of kids of my husband. Because of my injury, I don't think I can get pregnant. So to compensate it, I must save my virginity for my future husband. But on my birthday, my plan comes to a halt.
Because of my big sister's disappearance on her wedding day, I have to become her replacement to save my father and my family's dignity. Too bad my husband-to-be was too handsome for his own good. I don't like it because, in my dictionary of life, handsome face and loyalty are never can be put together in the same sentence.
At least this marriage is just a temporary solution. If it wasn't because of the need to save my father's face, I will never follow suit with this crazy plan.
After all, my other goal in life is to make sure my father is always happy. I have already robbed him of life partner, so I vowed to do anything humanly possible to fulfill his requests.
But he rarely requests anything from me except normal things that parents ask like taking care when going to school, etc. So once he pops out an abnormal request, never in my wild imagination could I have thought that it would be this. Switching place with my big sister as the bride!

All the leads that I have at this moment don't make any sense, but my guts knew that my mother's death, Malina disappearance 9 years ago, and The Heir Blackdays Case are closely related.
From what I've observed, Malina genuinely can't remember what actually happened when she was missing. There are a few survivors though, but somebody tampered with the information. No one can identify which family those kids belong to. All information about the kids has disappeared without a trace.
Did any of those children contact Malina without my knowledge? And my fiancé, I can sense, he has his own dark secret. Is it safe to bring him into our family?

It is truly killing two bird with one stone. Master Ji can't find fault with this plan.
