Probably reincarnation without former life memories is the biggest initiating blessing 'God' can grant. Yet this too is not given to her. A new family, a new race, and a new identity, now known as Cordelia Esperance Bloodrose. Merely recalling bits and pieces of her former life is not enough for Cordelia. Although life has never been accommodating for her, she never complained and still won't. Just this is not enough to stop her from knowing every truth hidden from her. The current realm is a setup from the book. And she never imagined, the sly Demon Prince, who won't stop following her, is not any character.

Chapter 1: Prologue (Part - I)

For good or for bad Sabrina William can be always called as goodie two shoes. In her teachers, friends, and classmates' eyes, she'll always be a good girl with a shy personality. So, what does this shy girl think about herself...

Sabrina William says 'No, I'm not a good girl I just want to be rebellious.'

From middle grades, the friends Sabrina made comes out to be good girls only. Any thoughts regarding doing something forbidden can be forgotten if your friends aren't interested or are afraid. Doing it by herself is in itself a scary thought for her. So, this vicious cycle got rinse and repeated till her graduation.

Her IQ can be said to above-average mass, but her results were always average, and yes the reason would be again the shy good girl. For one, she understood things very easily and she never needed to do those rote learning, and for the second, if she focuses on any subjects she could get full marks easily. Again this became boring for her, so she never tried rote learning. This goes till middle school.

Things changed in her middle school first year. In maths period, her teacher asked for homework. Students without homework got a thorough earful and were called to stand in the corridor for the whole period. More than half of the class has to stand outside, the teacher got more furious and yelled.

"Ask your parents to come tomorrow to meet me otherwise there's no need to attend my classes."

For Sabrina this was the first time in her life, she has to hear so much. She got fearful at the thought of calling her father to school and the reason is so shameful.

On that day she thought to herself, if she can be saved tomorrow then in her coming years she'll never be the reason to make her parents shamed again. After reaching home she didn't inform her parents about anything. The next day in the maths period, her teacher didn't ask for their parents, she felt relieved and remembered her promise to herself. She started showing some interest in maths class after that episode. Well, the rest is history, which can be seen in her school book every year after that year.

Her middle school finished without any event after that small hiccup. High school started without any change except that she has to change to a new school because the previous school didn't have the courses she wanted. After school graduation, she passed the entrance exams with ease and got accepted into the college of her own choice. Things were going normal until the second year of college.

In the second year of college she went on a trip organized by the college for students on a merit basis, only eight students were chosen from her class. Lucky for Sabrina, her best friend Daphne Wright got chosen alongside her. She thought that it would less boring if Daphne is also going. It was organized for five days.

On the eve of reaching their destination, the professor responsible for the trip dispersed them for their rooms in the hotel. Three students were supposed to share a room. Sabrina didn't like sharing personal space with others but she was okay with Daphne. But again the professor informed her to take one more person with them, this made her mood upsetting but she didn't reject the idea.

For one, the order was for everyone to follow and she didn't want to stand out from others. Daphne asked one of their classmates to join them, the other girl Cindy Crawford although from the same class but was alone. Sabrina didn't make any fuss and after Cindy joined them, they went to their room. At night time the whole group of students and teachers had dinner and went to sleep early, so they can wake up early in the morning for their planned trip.

The next three days went as organized by teachers, morning to evening they went hiking, horse riding, boating, and visiting a waterfall.

During these days Daphne was talking to Cindy most of the time, she wasn't ignoring Sabrina on purpose. For a better analogy, Daphne thought that her friend Sabrina and Cindy were a bit similar, like in the way they never initiated a conversation on their own, a bit cold looking without any expression when surrounded by people. She thought to herself, if she never involved Cindy in their conversation, then those two will never interact with each other and Cindy will feel lonely. So with these thoughts, she tried to talk to Cindy hoping that Sabrina will follow her example. Although her motives were good she didn't execute them flawlessly, resulting in Sabrina feeling betrayed.

So, on the last day, the professor in charge let them go in groups to shop and tour by themselves. Especially telling me not to go alone anywhere. The three in Sabrina's group decided to go together. Going out of the hotel they decided to go shopping first. Sabrina was walking behind Daphne and Cindy, who were quite busy in their conversation, feeling left out she moved to enter a shop and said behind her.

"I am going to buy souvenirs for my family, you two go I'll follow you shortly".

"Okay, we're going to the shop opposite this one. When you're done here come there or give me a call."

Daphne, although a bit worried but still responded to go along with her friend's choice. Seeing Daphne gone without much resistance made Sabrina irritated. She went out of the shop without buying anything to roam and breathe fresh air.

Choosing a direction to follow without any aim, she goes down to her right, founding the area a busy marketplace. Shops like clothing, restaurants, make-up, jewelry and tinkers, vegetables and fruits, a bakery selling sweet goods were placed haphazardly. She even found a shop selling antiques. Passing the antique shop she heard.

"Feeling lonely and betrayed young lady?"

Pausing at once, Sabrina turned to the antique shop on her left from where she heard the voice coming. A lady with a black robe covering her whole face was sitting with objects like a crystal ball, tarot cards, and other things related to hoodwink people were placed in front of her. Her shop was a shop that couldn't be summoned for its products because it was a shop for telling fortune.

"Do you know me, old lady? And how do you know about me?" Sabrina moved to the front of the shop which couldn't be called a shop.

"You asked wrong questions, what you should ask is who I am." The old lady spoke without a fluctuation in her voice.

Following the old lady's advice, Sabrina asked warily.

"Who are you?"

But the old lady didn't answer directly, she paused and spoke softly, "Child listen carefully, and remember my advice... Don't exhaust your soul too much, you need to find a path out of this €*$&#¢¶€."

Not hearing the last word correctly Sabrina wanted to ask further, but the old lady stopped her with the next line.

"I am Adrasteia. The witch Adrasteia... Alright. Because It has been a long time that I was surprised, finding you was the most difficult task given to me."

Frowning for being stopped before talking by the so-called Witch Adrasteia made Sabrina speak coldly. "Are you finished? Well, it doesn't matter, I'm leaving."

She turned to follow the road back to the hotel but heard the old lady say, "I cannot help you more than this because I'm an intruder, and looks like my time is up, but please remember to wake up."

Being fed up with the nonsensical talk, Sabrina turned to talk some sense into the old lady. But there was no presence of anyone just the old door of the antique shop. Seeing no one there, she thought that the lady ran away after spouting some nonsense. Finally, Sabrina turned to follow her original plan of going back to the hotel.

The return journey was without any thriller. Reaching the hotel she realized, she came earlier than others. Without any better ideas, she went to take a nap. Laying down, sleep came easier than expected, maybe she was tired.

Sabrina had a dream. There was this person who was talking to her, but she couldn't see his face. Sabrina struggled to open her eyes to see the other person's face, she also concentrated deeply to hear another person's voice. But all of this was in vain, she didn't achieve anything and woke up to Daphne's voice.

Daphne made a fuss about her missing, not coming to meet, and not picking up calls, also mentioned meeting the professor in charge because she found out about her. Feeling a headache coming up, Sabrina made a sound of agreement and without saying anything went on to meet her professor.

After listening to a long lecture from her professor, Sabrina went back to her room.

The next day the trip came to an end and the students followed teachers to return to the states. Sabrina was scattered minded throughout the return journey.
