Chapter 1: Chapter 01: Survive

Winter, December 31, Year 4610, Ancient Dragon Kingdom, Seven Dragon Continent.

Sound of weapon clashing resound from a forest called Misty Rain Forest. Inside of the forest, a lot people were fighting against one person. Blood spreading to every white-snow ground and lot of bodies lying there. A person with blond hair, with cold blue eyes, were staring with bloodshot eyes at those men who tried to kill him. In his corner mouth, blood slowly start to seeping out. He tried to hold his urge to vomiting blood because his internal injure. He didn't want to seem weak in front of them no matter what.

His name was Albert Hawk. Those who attacking him from a faction called Boundless Realm, a faction he created from the scratch till it became famous and have a lot influence in this continent. Yes, he was they leader before, but not now. Back then, when he created this faction, he used power to subjugate other. He didn't trust other people. What he knows, the strongest will always win and the weakest would always be a loser.

Who knows this theory could be wrong? Yes, this is what Albert experiencing right now. Those who subjugate by him start to rebels. All the power house who support this faction because forced now attacking him at the same time. They had enough been forced by him for years and want to kill him, so they could free again.

One by one, his attacker dropped to ground. Die because one hit kill from Albert. They were weak like an ant, but they number was huge. Albert still a mortal. His power is limited and he could be exhausted. No matter how strong he was, he could be weakening if had no power.

Albert's expression didn't look good when he heard it, but he didn't panic. He still confident that he could run away. He planned to survive no matter what because he will revenge for everything that has done today. He hates them, very hate.

Albert glared at Gillant, but didn't say anything.

"What? Are you speechless? Angry? Helpless?" Gillant sneered. "Don't worry. After you die, I will take care Boundless Realm with good. Everyone must be happy when they learning that you're stepping down as leader."

Albert keep silent. It's not because he doesn't know what to do, but he tried to think some plan. He had plans, but the risk still high. After all, it's not easy to escape from hundreds people who surrounded him.

Seeing Albert staring him silently, Gillant frowned. Somehow he got a bad feeling. He felt if he didn't kill Albert as soon as possible, something bad going to happen. "Kill him!" He didn't chit-chat anymore because his intuition is getting stronger.

Just as Gillant shout an order, Albert suddenly throwing something in the air. He throws it quite high so many people could see what is that object.

Gillant narrowed his eyes when looking at the object in the sky. That object was round and reddish. The first thing he thought about it was a bomb with high explosive. A suicide? Just he about to ordered his men to back off, the object was shining as if about to exploded!

"Sh*t!" Gillant screamed with pale expression. With this distance, he surely implicated and would be die or maybe heavy injured if it was really a high explosive bomb!

"Aarg!" The surrounded people screaming. They were really afraid seeing the object is about to exploded. They have a same thought as Gillant seeing his reaction was bad as if he eating a sh*t.

Indeed, the object was exploding, but not some huge flame coming out. Red smoke spreading out all around till no one couldn't see clearly their surrounded. After a few second the red smoke spread, everyone started to coughing violently one by one. Not just coughing, their eyes hurt as hell so tears can't stop flowing from their eyes. One by one begin to drop to ground because suffocate. Most of them already passed out in few minutes …

This smoke bomb was one of Albert trump cards. It's not a poison smoke, but only chili bomb. Right, you didn't read it wrong. It is a chili bomb!

Well, actually, Albert make this chili bomb unintentionally when he bored. Back then, he found some rare plant but it didn't have any worth. This plant was like a chili pepper and it had a nickname: One Bite Goes to Hell. Yes, it's was goddamn hot when Albert tried eaten it. He couldn't stop crying for whole three days because it's was unbearable! He even hiding for three consecutive days because ashamed can't stopped the tears flowing down from his eyes. Since it's was impossible to eat it, he decided to make it as smoke bomb. He already tested it before and the result was unexpected good.

If other people see poison smoke, they would immediately hold their breath so the poison won't enter their body too much. But this chili is very special. Just with one breath, it's enough to make you coughing nonstop till you feel suffocate.

Albert already make his move. After throwing this chili bomb to air, he hurried to use a mask that has already soaked with normal water. Since he can't use his eyes inside the smoke, he activing his sense to feel his surrounded while running away. The smoke spreading about 100 meter. So, no matter where the direction he chosen, no one could see where he running.

When Albert headed out from the smoke screen, he knows the true danger is start from here. It was because Gillant only an insignificant enemy. Just as he thought, another strong person—stronger than Gillant—is about to ambush him just right in the second he heading out! Albert face turn cold when he seen an incoming attack. He already overused his power and damaging his meridian, so he didn't have much confident to block this attack head-on. He decided to evade.

Success evade doesn't mean the attack would stop just like that. Other incoming attacks come. This time, attacks come from different angle at the same time. Albert frowned while observation the incoming attacks. He can dodge most of the attacks, but cannot perfectly dodge it!

Graze by graze injured Albert's skin. His cloth become tattered and this make him looks like a beggar. His face started to voids of color because losing blood. One by one, his attackers dropped to ground after receiving Albert's counter. He could felt his meridian can't hold on anymore if this continue too long …

A sound of loud explosion surprise most of people. It's was so suddenly and attracted a lot attention. Even Albert can't help glanced to where the explosion come. It wasn't too far from him and this make him wondered who make this explosion? Is someone help him? But who?

"Go!" A soft and charming voice suddenly heard from far.

Albert looked at the woman with complicated expression. He never thinks someone would save him in this critical time. He and that woman just an acquaintance and never have an intimate talk, so he was wondering why this woman help him? He didn't remember about saving a beauty woman like her or being close to her.

With that woman help who help him attracted enemies' attention, Albert run and run while annihilate everyone who in his way. When he success out from the trap, he uses the rest of his power to dash out from forest with full speed. He took out some medicine pills to refill his spiritual power.
